Marshall graduated Cum Laude from MTSU in 2006 with a degree in finance with an emphasis in insurance. While at MTSU, he worked as a claims intern at Auto Owners Insurance and as a risk management intern for Tractor Supply Company home office, and he served as president of Gamma Iota Sigma Insurance Society.

After graduation, Marshall worked as a commercial underwriter for Auto Owners Insurance and joined Morrison & Fuson in 2007. He became co-owner of Morrison & Fuson in 2017. Marshall earned the Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2012 after completing 100 hours of classwork and five essay examinations.

Marshall’s community involvement includes being a deacon of his church, a member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle TN board of directors, a member of the Tristar Bank community council, a past member of the Dickson County Chamber of Commerce board of directors, a past president of Dickson High Noon Rotary Club, and a past member of the United Way of Dickson County allocations committee.

Marshall and his wife, Miranda, have a rambunctious son and daughter. He enjoys duck hunting, boating, traveling, and spending time with family.
